Most car owners, unfortunately, often neglect polishing their car but is by far the most beneficial step in maintaining the pristine appearance of your car’s paintwork.
Polishes maintain and extend the life of paint by removing dirt too stubborn for general washing, removing oxidized paint, smoothing out any surface scratches and swirl marks and finally, conditioning the paintwork so that it doesn’t dry, crack and peel.
How often should you polish?
Like most subjects everyone has an opinion but most agree that it should be twice a year as a minimum. There also many factors that help you arrive at a frequency that suits you. These include whether your car is garaged, how many km’s you travel, where you live (hot humid climates like most of Queensland are particularly hard on your paintwork) and even the cloud of your car.
*Always clean bird droppings and sap as soon as possible to reduce the chance of paint staining
